CODING PARTY

CODING PARTY is a fun, collaborative tech event where senior developers (mentors) teach junior learners (mentees) programming in the language of their choice. It’s hands-on, social, and designed to grow confidence, community, and coding skills.

Language Match-Up

  • Activity: Juniors pick the programming language they want to learn.
  • Languages Include: Arduino, Python, C, C++, Java, HTML/CSS, and more.
  • Goal: Get matched with a mentor experienced in that language.
  •  

Mentor-Led Learning Circles

  • Activity: Small group or 1-on-1 teaching by senior developers.
  • Style: Interactive discussions, screen sharing, and problem-solving.
  • Goal: Personalized learning based on the mentee’s level and goals.
  •  

Mini Projects and Code Sprints

  • Activity: Collaborate on small projects (like a Motion Detection, to-do app, or Led Display).
  • Languages: Chosen by the group.
  • Goal: Apply concepts quickly through real coding tasks.
  •  

Code Challenges

  • Activity: Timed coding battles.
  • Tools: Arduino IDE, Vscode, Nodepad++
  • Goal: Boost excitement, speed, and friendly competition

Show & Tell / Demo Time

  • Activity: Each group or mentee presents what they built or learned.
  • Format: Quick demos or walkthroughs.
  • Goal: Build confidence, share creativity, and inspire others.

 

Feedback & Next Pair-Up

  • Activity: Everyone shares feedback and chooses their next language/topic.
  • Goal: Keep the learning journey active and community strong, expose juniors to real-world coding stories and career tips.
